hi friend
SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission.
UPSC stands for Union Public Service Commission.
Both commissions conduct the exam for the recruitment
of various post of Central government.
SSC conducts the exam for low level post like clerk, sub
inspector, Stenographer,DEO etc.
UPSC conducts the exam for High level post Like IAS, IFS,
IPS, Income tax commissioner etc.
Obviously the exam standard of UPSC exam will be high
and its paper will be very tough in comparision of SSC
exams.
Best of Luck

Good Luck......
there are lot of exams conducted both by UPSC and SSC. be specific on which exam?
I assume SSC combined graduate level exam and UPSC civil service exam.
whatever exam you take, the syllabus for both UPSC and SSC is not same. the scheme of exam itself is different
SSC- only objective type questions , plus some skill test like typewriting (only for clerk level)
UPSC - preliminary stage is objective, while mains exam is completely descriptive
SSC exam scheme:
Conbined graduate level exam: tier 1: paper consists of 200 questions
50 each from maths, reasoning, general awareness and English
tier 2:
2 papers - maths and English
UPSC civil service:
preliminary: 2 papers- CSAT and general studies
mains: 9 papers- English language,Indian language, general studies(2 papers), optional subjects( 2 subjects to be chosen, 2 papers each, totally 4 papers) and one essay
thus the syllabus for both exams is completely different, some topics may overlap. But with preparation for SSC exam, you cannot write UPSC exam, dedicated preparation is required for it
