Examination Pattern for UPSC Indian Statistical Service Examination

There would be following papers conducted in this examination and all the papers are set in english language only and candidates have to answer all the papers in english only and no paper is of objective type in that you should remember one thing which is that all the papers are conventional and passing in each is compulsory then begin your preparation

Paper I - General English - 100 marks

Paper II - General Studies - 100 marks

Paper III - Statistics I - 200 marks

Paper IV - Statistics II - 200 marks

Paper V - Statistics III - 200 marks

Paper VI - Statistics IV - 200 marks

You will get complete 3 hours for each paper to solve peacefully

I would like to suggest you that before you start preparation of this exam you should download official syllabus that is also mentioned in attached notification then sort out some topics according to your facility and complete each with the help of some good books but if you get guidance in preparation then nothing would be better than it because you will get assistance and if you make any mistake then they may take you on the route so you have to think about it
