I have the last 6 years question papers for UPSC engineering service exam. But i want solved paper (General & Electrical) atleast for one year.

for the engineering services exam(IES) one needs to be a B.Tech/B.E degree holder form an AICTE recognized university.
And only electrical , civil , mechanical and electronics and communication stream candidates are allowed to appear for the exam.

Your age should be below 30 years and above 21 years.

Donot worry,I am providing you the papers of IES exam of previous year.


IES is the Indian Engineering services examinations.Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology in any discipline is the basic qualifications required for it.Final year B.tech candidate can also apply for the examinations.

Your age must be between 21-30 years.Relaxation of three years to obc and five years to sc/st respectively.You must be an Indian citizen.

The no of attempts for general is 4,obc is 7 and sc/st has no limit.'

The examination pattern for electrical engineering is :

The date of starting of registration is 15/03/2013 and it will end on 16/04/2013.The examination will be held on 28/06/2013.

IES Stands for Indian Engineering Services Examination .IES exam is conducted by UPSC in once time in year.IES examination is generally conducted in the month of June in every year.

If you have completed engineering degree from below given department then you are eligible for attend to IES Exam

1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering

The applicant age should between 21 yrs to 30 yrs.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Eligibility Criteria for IES

Should be completed degree or diploma in engineering & technology for following branch
Mechanical
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering

Age limit
Candidate should be minimum 21 year and maximum 30 year
for SC/ST 5 year that means range of age is 21 to 35
For OBC 3 year that means range of age is 21 to 33

Candidate should be Indian.
