UPSC will be conducting the CDS 2 ,2012 exams on 16th Sep 2012 (SUNDAY)
at 41 centres all over India as per the notification dated 2nd June 2012.

The last date for reciept of applications was 02.07.12.

>>Date of last receipt of application: 02/07/2012.
>>Date of examination: 16/09/2012

CDS stands for Combined Defence services.
>>It is conducted by upsc twice every year .
Eligibility criteria:
>>Bachelor's degree in any stream from a university approved from UGC.
>>Final year graduation candidates are also allowed to apply.
>>Your age should be between 19 to 25 years.
1.IMA: 19-24 years
2.INA:19-22 years
3.OTA: 19-22 years.
>>You must be physically fit.
>>Both male and female can apply.

so you try for the next year for the cds-1.

Yes , you are right CDS II Last date for receipt of application was already expired .
CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service examination and this examination is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice in a year .
-->> CDS I Examination was already completed .
-->> CDS II Last date for receipt of application on 02 / July / 12 .
-->> So if you are not applied then you missed this chance .

Minimum Education Qualification for this examination is that aspirant should have a three year degree or four year degree from a recognized University or equivalent qualification and No minimum marks required for this examination .
CDS Examination is conducted for recruitment of Military Academy , Naval Academy , Air force Academy , Officer Training Academy (SSC-Men) , Officer Training Academy (SSC-Women ) . So if you want to appear Naval Academy / Air force Academy , the aspirant should have a physics and mathematics as subjects 12th level examination .
Military Academy / Officer Training Academy :: Degree course with any discipline from a recognized University .

yes, the last date for applying for UPSC CDS-II exam is expired.
Last date of submission of application for UPSC CDS-II exam is 02-07-2012.
so you have to wait for next year for applying for UPSC CDS exam.

For OTA and IMA: graduation
for INA and IAF: B.Tech or B.SC with math and Physics
Age Limit:
INA: 19 years to 22 years
IAF: 19 years to 23 years
IMA: 19 years to 24 years

this is conducted by UPSC once in a year.

so you are not eligible foe application of the CDS-II 2012 exam.

Dear, Yes..!!! the last date is expired for online CDS-II of 2012 application. The last date for the submission of Application was 2nd july 2012, but don't mind if you are less than 23 years than you can apply for Army and if less than 22 years than you can apply for Airforce. Good Luck.....
