It is nice that you want to join IFS exam in future.

You should have any one of the like, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science /Botany /Chemistry /Geology /Mathematics /Physics /Statistics /Zoology Etc... in Bachelor degree Course.

If you studied any one of the Subject than Definitely applicable for this Examination.

Your age must be attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years

Important Dates for IFS exam;-

Last dates for Filling Application is 4th April 2013 which is over.

Preliminary exam date;-26 may 2013

Mains exam is conducted in Sept/Oct month of this year

Vacancy: The number of vacancies to be filled on the results of the examination is expected to be approximately 85
Reservation: Reservation will be made for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH categories in respect of vacancies as may be fixed by the Government

To become eligible for IFS exam you must hold a Bachelor�s degree with at least one of the subjects Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology,Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor�s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering from recognized college or university.

AGE Limit for IFS Exam:

Educational Qualification:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor�s degree with at least one of the following subjects:

Age Limit :
Candidate should be under 21-30 years , 3 years of age relaxation for BC category candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST category candidates.
