Sir, My name is ramana I completed my 12 th standard HEG(History, Economics, Geography)with 89% with the aim Civil services. Plz suggest me
which subjects should i opt in BA Graduation level, so that I can get through the civils successfully.

Actually you can choose subjects of your own choice as you have done 12th in History,Economics,Geography and they all are asked in civil services exam and you can choose among them.And also consider that whichever subjects you choose in graduation it may be helpful for you in your exam(cs).

UPSC conduct Civil Services Exam for the post of IAS, IPS, IRS etc. For Civil Services Exam you need graduation degree.
As you said you have History, Geography and Economics, and i will advice you to go with these subjects in graduation also and also keep preparing for aptitude.

Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:

>>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.

>>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.



Limit Number Of Attempts:

>>General category: 4 attempts

>>OBC category: 7 attempts

>>SC/ST category: No Limit
