The written test of NDA consist of following sections:
Mathematics
General Ability
Both the papers are conducted for 2 hr 30 min each.
Maths paper is of 300 marks and General Ability test is of 600 marks.
The total marks is 900 marks for written test.

It is nice that you want to join NDA exam after 12th standard to join Indian defense services.
NDA exam requires a 12th standard from a recognized board.
Age limit is 16.5-19 years.
You must be Unmarried male and Indian citizen.
NDA Written exam consist ;-
Math;-2.5 hours which consist 300 marks
General ability test having 2.5 hours duration of 300 marks.
The general ability test Consist;-
English;-200 marks
General knowledge;-400 marks
The syllabus of NDA exam is based on 12th standard.
To clear this exam, you must consist passing marks generally 40% of total NDA written exam.
After clearing this exam,you will be called for Interview.
Last stages is Physical and medical standard.

NDA written examination consists of two question papers:-
1.Mathematics- 2.5 hours(time to solve)-maximum 300 marks
2.General Ability- 2.5 hours(time to solve)-maximum 600marks
General Ability consists of 2 parts:-
>English-200 marks
>General Knowledge-400 marks
So maximum marks in written examination for NDA are 300+600= 900 marks

Friend,Maximum Marks in NDA Exam are 900.In it,300 are of Maths alone & rest 600 are of G.K,English,History & Geography(til class 10th).

- The written examination will be an objective type paper.

there are two papers
1st paper is written test consists of mathematics and general ability for 900 marks total.
2nd test is general ability test consists of english and general knowledge for 600 marks total.

Eligibility for NDA qualification required.
The candidate should be 12th passed /appeared from a govt recognized university.
Candidate age must be in between 16.5-19 years.
Candidate need to be Citizenship of India .
The candidate must be medically fit.
Candidate height must be minimum 157 cm.
Girl are not allowed for NDA exam.

>> You must be citizen of India, Nepal , Bhutan.
