    Dear Aspirant,
~~The minimum educational qualification to appear for the Civil Service exams conducted by the UPSC is :: HOLDING A DEGREE OF GRADUATION,OR EQUIVALENT FROM AN UNIVERSITY RECOGNIZED BY THE UGC,OR BE A FINAL YEAR STUDENT IN THE SAME.
THE PERCENTAGE OF MARKS IS NOT AN ISSUE.CANDIDATES HAVING SCORED EVEN THE 'PASS PERCENTAGE' ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.
HENCE,EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE SCORED ONLY A 45% IN BCA,YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY PROVIDED YOUR UNIVERSITY IS A RECOGNIZED ONE,AND YOU MEET THE COMPLETE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE EXAMS.
    ## Eligibility Criteria ##
~~You must be a citizen of India,
or,You must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan,
or,You must be a Tibetan refugee settled in India permanently, before 1962.
~~You must be 21 to 30 years of age. However the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/STs and by 3 years for the OBC candidates.
~~The educational qualification is mentioned above.
~~The open category students are allowed 4 attempts in the Civil Service exams. The number of attempts is extended to 7 attempts for the OBC candidates and unlimited for the SC/ST Candidates.
IF YOU FULFILL THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA MENTIONED ABOVE,THEN THERE IS NO REASON WHY YOU CAN'T APPEAR FOR THE CIVIL SERVICE EXAMS.
    Good Luck!!

THERE is NO SUCH RESTRICTION ON THE PERECENTAGE BASIS in upsc examinatiion,

YOU need only to pass in graduation examination,SO we can even shortlist minimum percentage as 33 % in most of the cases many university have this percentage required to pass their candidates.

    Dear friend

don't lose your stamina and will power because upsc really don't have any problem as the percentage may be more or may be less ut it doesn't mean that you work lightly or you take lightly for your ups exam also .it requires hard work .and today who can move with moving world can only win the race

    Hi Aspirant

Well you should not need to worry friend

As the minimum percentage to appear in the upsc exam is nothing

As they are just asking that the candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized Indian University

And their is no need of specific % to appear in the exam

And as a bca student you are fully eligible to write the exam

Here is the criteria for the exam:

The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized indian university

Or a final year student can also apply for the exam

And the age should be between 21-30

And their will be relaxation given to the obc of 3 years

And relaxation given to the sc,st of 5 years

    Best of luck

There is nothing considered as minimum mark. Upsc needs only a person holding degree( he who has his graduation) no matter how high or low the mark is

    dear aspirant,
graduation or engineering in any stream or subjects is the main eligibility to apply for the upsc examinations.

you are fully eligible to apply for the any of the graduation based upsc examinations.

there is no percentage bar to apply for the upsc examinations.
so don't worry about your percentage ,even with 45% marks in your BCA course you are eligible to apply for the upsc examinations.

percentage criteria is same for all category(general.OBC,SC/ST) aspirants .
there is age relaxation for the OBC and the SC/ST category aspirants of 3 and 5 years respectively
