    In which month does IAS exam is conducted every year? What is the syllabus for IAS exam?

    when actually is ias exam conducted??? in wich month?? what is the portion of ias examination???

    IAS prelims is held in May month.Mains is conducted around November December.This year it will be in December.And then the Interview is conducted for mains qualified candidates.You can check the dates on the website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.You can get the dates for next year exam calendar after few months.You can also have the syllabus right there.Syllabus for prelims,to be frank , is everything that you have studied till 12th.Each and every subject with each topics.You can check the syllabus at any of the notifications in the website of UPSC

    every year it is conducted in the month of may and results will be announced during the month of august.first of all preliminary exam is done and then mains and after that interview is conducted and after that you are allotted for the meritlist based on which you have postings should be applied.

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services.

    This exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

    IAS exam is conducted on the month of May and June.

    Mains exam s conducted on the month of December.

    Notification for this exam results on the month of January.

    Selection procedure for IAS exam consist of three stages :-

    1] Preliminary examination

    2] Mains examination

    3] Personal interview

    Eligibility criteria for IAS :-

    > Nationality :- A citizen of India.

    > Age limit :- 21 to 30 years.

    There is also a relaxation provided to SC/ ST/ OBC category aspirant as per government rule.

    Upper age limit relaxation :-

    > For OBC :- 3 years

    > For SC/ ST :- 5 years

    > Educational qualifications :-

    The aspirant must be completed his/ her graduation from any recognized university.

    > The aspirant who is appearing in final year can also apply for this exam.

    Syllabus of the IAS exam :-

    > English

    > Aptitude

    > Logical Reasoning

    > General Knowledge
