IAS stands for INDIAN ADMINISTRATION SERVICE
This exam is conducted by UPSC.
Whereas the
PCS stands for PUNJAB CIVIL SERVICE
PCS exam is conducted by the Punjab educational board.
So both the exams are different and they have different syllabus for the entrance exam.

No they are different as the IAS is conducted by UPSC and it is national level exam and the PCS is state level exam....
No both are differently conducted by different bodies..
no the entrance exam of ias and pcs are not same. ias exam is conducted by upsc(body of central government) and pcs(provincial civil services) exam is a state level civil services exam conducted by the respective state governments.

PCS exam is the state civil service exam is like Punjab civil service (PPCS), Haryana Civil service (HPCS) etc.
IAS exam is the center exam which is taken by the upsc.
Almost term and condition are same for both the exam.
Age limit for the exam 21 to 30 years
Age relaxation for reserved category as per center and state government

IAS exam is National level exam and PCS exam is State level exam.
And more importantly they conduct almost same as term and conditions for both the exams.
