My date of birth is 14th September 1994. Am I eligible for NDA entrance - 2013?

to appear for nda exam one should:
1. complete (10+2) from a recognised istitute. (Maths and physics are needed for joining navy and Air Force wings.)
2. Age limit is between 16.5 to 19 years.

As u will be 19 in september 2013, you can appear for the exam BUT.................. it will be your last attempt.

You are 100% eligible for the NDA EXAM as i see from the side of age creteria.
According to NDA , candidate have minimum age is 16.5 years and maximum age is 19 years.
Your age is 18 years .
For this you must pass the 12th class equivalent in physics , chemistry, mathematics and english.

• This exam is for the entrance in any of three wings of defence sector i.e Indian army, Indian Navy and Indian Air force.
• You must have completed the intermediate from an recognised university to join Indian army.
• For Indian Navy and Indian Airforce, you must have physics and maths as an compulsory subject.
• You must have the age in between 16.5 years to 19 years.
• You must be the citizen of India.
• You must be male and also unmarried to appear in this exam.

Yes you are eligible you can apply for NDA exam in 2013

NDA stand for National Defence Academy

NDA exam is conducted by UPSC twice in A year NDA-I and NDA-II


Eligibility For NDA

1. the candidate must be an indian citizen.

2. the candidate must be an unmarried male.

3. the candidate must be passed/appeared in 12th with a govt. recognized university.

4. the candidate must be medically fit.

5. he must be in between 16.5-19 years.

But I have a doubt....... The 2013's brochure which I have downloaded says that only candidates are eligible who are born not earlier than 2nd January 1995 and not later than 1st July 1997. So then how I can apply?
