hi,
dear do not get disturbed from your path just to follow another. first decide what is your interest and what career you want for yourself. both civil services and engineering are good options but you should be very clear about your prospectus of life.
civil services examination require a graduate degree and a lot of dedication, so i will suggest you to first focus on your graduation and while you will be in final year of graduation you can start preparing for civil services.
best of luck.
dear, according to me your decision is wrong bcoz now you are studying 1st yrs. MPC with IIT coaching if you will attempt UPSC civil then you will be confused to take your education so, in my opinion you should do firstly complete your MPC with IIT coaching. Completed your MPC then you can apply for UPSC civil exam that is better.
Thanks
