I am a B.E Electronics graduate. Which is the best choice after B.Tech, to join in IIT or taking UPSC coaching?

myself Deepak G S I'm doing BE in electronics and communication and i decided to take UPSC exams after my degree completion. Now i'm in 5th semester and i took gate examination also. I'm preparing for the exam gate also.So my question is if i get good marks in gate and after my degree should i join the any iit or shall i take upsc coaching.

if u want to become master in elctronics.than u shOULD go for m.tech from IIT. if u want the job than u go for prepration for UPSC.U HAVE LOT OF TIME.NOW TIME IS VERY CRUCIAL.IF U GOT JOB IN UPSC.THAT IS BETTER FOR U. GOOD LUCK

dear friend,

first you decide that you want to go for masters or you want to go forjob through UPSC exams.
if you want to go for higher study then go for gate and take admission in IIT.
and if you want to go for job then you must go for UPSC exams.



Good Luck............

- If you are interested in completing your master then prepare for GATE
- If you are willing to take up govt. job then prepare for UPSC.
- But do not target for both otherwise none of them you will be able to achieve.
- As per my suggestion go for M.Tech.
- Even after post-graduation you can aim for UPSC exams.

Pursuing M.Tech. from IIT's and getting a job through UPSC Exams are different choices with different approaches and results.

Like you are excellent in your engineering studies and want to pursue carrier in research , academics or want a job in some core-group company of private sector; than no doubt's for you choose IIT's or IISc through GATE.
But if you want a secure job with high responsibilities and a good pay then you should prefer the UPSC Exams like Engineering Services Exam or the Civil Services Exam.
And always remember that both of these streams chosen by you require a lot of devotion and hard work.

my suggestion is that DEEPAK if get qualified for both the examination then go for the UPSC job but you mentioned about joining upsc coaching it seems that you will drop for the coaching which is VERY BAD IDEA, as there is much more for a techinical graduates who get qualified for GATE, it will also fetch you a GOOD career later on in the field of research,associateship etc.

means you will move from a stable to unstable envirnoment, as doing coaching won't provides you gaurantee to succeeded in the examination.

so,go for GATE.

YOU WANT TO GET a job than i suggest you to JOIN THE COACHING FOR UPSC EXAMINATION.

i think you should choose coaching for upsc examination because once you will get the job than you have no need to doing post graduation because ias /ips is very reputed job ,

but it is depends on you that what you want to do .if you think that you could better in the field after completing your post graduation

than IIt is better for you ,

according to my point of you that if you got selected for IIT than it is best for you because you have proper time to get prepare for upsc
after P.G. but if you wish to get a job first and after that more study than prepare for upsc.

Well both are good and both the fields are different each other

And after b.tech going for IIT For m.tech is also brilliant

And no doubt your future will be secure and safe

And you can join private sector as well as government after m.tech

And on the other hand upsc is also one of reputed department

They are conducting the civil services exam for the IAS,IPS Post

And these are the most reputed posts of the country

And if you will clear any of upsc exam your future will be secure no doubt

Also you will get the benefit of the government job

As you will get the benefit of job security

And also some government job benefits like house,pension and others

So choose the option which you likes
