I am an Agriculture post graduate student, please tell me along with agriculture as one optional what other subject should i select? Some of my seniors say that one should not take science subjects as they are difficult to score. What to do im confused. I am interested in geography. how about Agriculture and Geography? Please suggest.

Hello IAS aspirant, Agriculture and goegraphy are good as optional subjects.
But you have to keep in mind .You have to choose subjects on which you have atleast moderate command.
It's up to you to decide the optional subjects.
And yES iF you are aiming for civil services exam to be held on 2013 .
Be concious because upsc has decided to change the pattern for Civil Services exam.
