Geography is good options but only if you prepare it well as the civil services exam consists of such a wide syllabus and you need to prepare the subject thoroughly for the exam and if you do so then you will be able to score good..

Geography serves a very good subject for the mains if you have your own interest in it. It helps you achieving the high scores in the mains. But it is a kind of the subject in which only if you will have your interest, then only you can do well in it otherwise without interest you will be lying nowhere in the mains with the help of this subject
