there is baisc criteria for upsc is
1. must be university graduate form reconised university or equivalent.
2.Age criteria :
One should be in the age group of 21-30 years by 1st August of the year in which the examination is going to be conducted.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC/ST.
Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for Ex-service man.
