Friend, Examination date of UPSC 2012 is passed. Now you can apply for UPSC 2013
not for 2012. Examination shedule for UPSC 2012 was as i am giving below:-

1. Last date for applying for IAS (Preliminary) exam 2012 was 5th March 2012.
2. Candidates can only apply for IAS exam 2012 through online mode only.To
apply for 2012 civil services exam, click here. No other mode is permissible.
3. The total number of vacancies for the 2012 IAS exam is approximately 1037.
This figure is subject to change. Based on this figure, approximately 13500
candidates will qualify the Preliminary exam.
4. The IAS 2012 Preliminary exam will be held on 20th May 2012.
5. There will be penalty for wrong answers or negative marking in the Prelims.
Usually this is 0.33 marks.
6. The 2012 civil services exam will recruit candidates for 24 Central and All India
Services. Typically the maximum vacancies are in the top ranked services i.e IAS,
IPS, IRS, IRTS, IFS etc.
