Dear,
If your university is approved by the ugc/aicet then u are eligible for the upsc exam.
graduation stream is not importance for the civil service exam.
age limit is for general category 21 to 30 years.
best of luck for the future
Dear, As I know UGC does not recomend 2 yrs Degree Course and same with UPSC. Mampmaniam Sundaranar University is a Recognized University by UGC and NAAC. and if you got 3 year degree course then its OK. You are eligible for UPSC EXAM.
See my friend ....you can get graduation from any university in any stream with any percentage ....do not worried about it but the question is your saying only 2 years degree....it is not allowed to enter into UPSC exam because they require minimum three years degree so that go for another option ...any way good luck my friend...![]()
Dear pal,
- For most of the UPSC exam you require bachelor degree in any discipline. For NDA, CDS you require higher secondary qualification with physics, mathematics as subjects.
- The degree course need to be a minimum of three years in duration. Lesser duration are not considered as degree course. If a university provides with bachelor degree in two year is not possible and it is fake.
- If you are in second year means you can apply next year for the upsc exam. If it is two year course then you can not make use of degree. You need to persue a new degree and then only you can apply for it.
- Also you can not make use of the degree for any of the job opportunity or any degree course so better is to do another degree

I am afraid your degree duration won't be recognized by the UPSC as most of the graduation courses are of minimum 3 years of duration however there is nothing mentioned by the upsc for the duration of the courses but case will falls under the special consideration of the upsc better you will call on the UPSc official number for the clarification on your case.
