Hello,
If you want to work in the United States then there is two routes:
permanent residency, also known as a green card
and temporary work Visa.
The most available form of Visa is the H-1B. H-1B visas which is for workers in specialty occupations

Dear Aspirant,
A 'TEMPORARY WORKING VISA' AND A 'PASSPORT' ARE THE ONLY DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR A PERSON TO STUDY OR WORK ABROAD.
THE VISA IS RENEWABLE.
NO GREEN CARD IS NECESSARY,AS IT IS ALLOTTED ONLY TO THE PERMANENT RESIDENTS OF THAT COUNTRY.
YOU CAN GET THE TWO ABOVE MENTIONED DOCUMENTS FROM THE PASSPORT OFFICE,IN A TIME PERIOD OF LESS THAN 3 MONTHS.
GOOD LUCK !!
to study:
1) appear for GRE exam and get the score. Apply with that score to various universities. Then they will send admission card. with that admission card, you have to appear for visa interview . once you clear that, you will be given student visa and you can study in US
