    Dear student,
The major difference between the UPSC and the MPSC Exams is that the UPSC conducts exams at the central level whereas the MPSC conducts exams at the state level.
The syllabus and eligibility criteria is almost the same for both the examinations.
Its just that qualifying UPSC exams would land you with posts such as the IAS and IPS at centre and clearing the MPSC exams will hand you posts such as the B.D.O. At the state level.

    Good Luck.

    Dear friend

there is no need of confuse between these two bodies. Both the bodies are not same.

the main difference between the upsc and mpsc is as follows:

upsc = union public service commission

mpsc = maharashtra public service commission

union public service commission held a recruitment at the pan india level but the mpsc conduct recruitment at the state level only.

Union public service commission conduct ias, ips, ifs, iss, ies, cds services at the national level but the mpsc conduct exam at the state posts only

union public service commission receive the application for posts from all over india but mpsc only receive application from the state.

The examination dates of both the bodies are separate from each other.

The questions of the both bodies may be same which are asked in the question papers.

    • One need to give different service exam for joining the either and the competition is state level for MPSC while it is national level for UPSC.

    Hi Aspirant

Yes their is difference between the Mpsc And the Upsc exam

First Upsc stands for the union public service commission

And on the other hand Mpsc for the Maharastra Public Service commission

As both names suggest the main difference

The mpsc exam is just a state level exam and state candidates

Are allowed and on the other hand the upsc exam

Is a center level exam and the candidates are allow from all over the country

And as the upsc exam is the highest difficult test and on the other

Hand the mpsc exam is much easier when we compare with the upsc exam

As the upsc exam is for the IAS Post on the other hand the mpsc exam for post like bdo

The level of the exam is far much higher than the mpsc

But one thing if you have prepared your self for the upsc exam

Than ultimately you will be prepare for the mpsc exam

    Best of luck
