As per your question you want to know about Indian Polity by LaxmiLaxmikanth,see this is a good book and acquire good knowledge
abot our Constitution and it had also interesting facts also.
but in my knowledge,there is another book which is preferred by me
the book is Indian Polity and.Constitution by Dr. D.D.VASU which is best
book from 1950 and so you also try to read it...

All book are same .
Acc. To me rely on only one book and do not study from two book ata a time.

Study one book but nicely.
