    Is it possible to become an IPS officer being a Chartered Accountant by profession?

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    Myself CA PINTOO SETHIA,Age :25year, Qualification: CA,CS, CWA (I),M.COM,
    I am Practicing Chartered Accountant in Surat, I want to join Civil Service, My dream is to be become IPS office, Can I do IPS, because my field is different from IPS syllabus, I will give my 100% for IPS preparation, but please suggest to me it is comfortable for me or not.
    I am belonged from Commerce Background, Please provides to me details of next UPSC exam. timetable.

    Yes you can become an ips officer, you can opt accountancy,economics etc as your optional subjects and tackle the civil services exam easily and comfortably.

    sure, if you are graduate in any stream then you can apply for IPS, provided that you must complete other eligibility like age etc. For complete information you must go on UPSC website www.upsc.gov.in/
