For which post/position am I applicable through CDS exam being a B.E (CS) graduate?

I am BE Computer 2010 passout.. DOB (5-3-1988)..want to ask whether I am eligible for CDS exam 2013 and for which post/position..

UPSC conducts the Combined Defence Services(CDS) Exam twice a year.
Selections are made to the Indian Military Academy(IMA),Naval Academy,Airforce Academy and Officers Training Academy(OTA).
Candidates are comissioned as Officers after passing out from these academy on finishing successful training.Being a B.E.(CS) you can apply to any position/academy according to your interest,preference & choice.

Eligibility For CDS Exams :

Age Limit :
OTA-19-25yrs
IMA-19-24yrs
Airforce Academy-19-23yrs
Naval Academy-19-22yrs

There is no relaxation of age limit for any category of candidates.
Educational Qualification :
Minimum educational qualification is graduation from a recognised University.
FINAL YEAR APPEARING/APPEARED CANDIDATES CAN APPLY ON PROVISION.

OTA & IMA-graduation in any dicipline from a recognised University/equivalent.
Airforce Academy-B.Sc with Physics and/or Maths / B.E. in any discipline from a recognised University.
Naval Academy-B.Sc with Maths and Physics/B.E. in any discipline from a recognised University.

Exam Scheme :
Exam pattern consists of :
1.Written exams and 2.Interviews.

For IMA,Airforce and Naval Academy written Exams :
Elementary Maths(Objective type)-100 marks
Engilish(Objective type)-100 marks
General Knowledge(Objective type)-100 marks

SSB Interviews-300 marks

For OTA Written exams :Engilish(Objective type)-100 marks
General Knowledge(Objective type)-100 marks

After BE computer graduation you are eligible for the give the cds exam.


Under the cds exam four paper is taken like as the

1.
Air force

2.
Navy

3.
Indian military academy

4.
Officer training academy


Age limit for the exam.


Air force academy 19 to 23 years of age.

Navy 19 to 22 years of age.

Indian military academy 19 to 24 years of age.

Officers training academy 19 to 25 years of age is required.


Qualifcation is required for the exam:-


For Air force and Navy candidate must have science graduate from the approved university


For Indian military academy and officer training academy candidate must have graduate in any stream.


At the time according to your age you are eligible only for the officer training academy.

As you have completed B.Tech you are eligible to apply for all the posts covered under Combined Defense Service Examinations.
Posts covered are:
1.Indian Military Academy
2.Indian Naval Academy
3.Officer's Training Academy

But as per age limits eligibility maximum age required is 24 years but you are in 26 years so, you are not eligible to apply for CDS exam.

If you are completed graduate degree then you are applicable to apply for all the CDS Examination Selection . CDS Examination is conducted for Selection into Army , Navy , Air force and Officer Training Academy Examination . This selection is conducted twice in a year by UPSC .

The examination is conducted in the month of February and September and the February application will be available in the month of Oct/November in the official website of UPSC and the September application forms will be available in the month of May/June in the official website .

Army and OTA examination is that the candidate must has completed degree course or post graduate degree or engineering from a recognized University .

Air force and Navy examination is that the candidate must has completed degree course or engineering degree from a recognized University and must have a mathematics and physics as subjects at intermediate level examination .

Age limits ::

Air force :: 19-23 years .
Navy :: 19-22 years .
OTA :: 19-25 years .
Army :: 19-24 years .
