    Dear, Syllabus of the CDS EXAM is as same as NDA i.e. what you have learn up to class XII is as same as. But, if you have not opted Maths in your 10+2 level than it is bit tough. So the same you have to go through COACHING CENTERS. Following are the Subjects for CDS:- 1. English 2.GK 3.Elementary Mathematics (i)Arithmetic (ii)Algebra (iii) Trigonometry (iv) Geometry (v)Mensuration (vi) Statistics 4.Intelligence ans Personality Test. So, Good Luck...

    CDS stands for Combined Defense Service this examination is conducted by union public service commission and this examination is conducted by Every twice per year.This year of CDS-1 exam completed on 12-02-12 and the CDS-2 Exam is conducted on 16-9-12. The main purpose of this exam is to require the candidate for the Defense Service so if you interest to apply this you should be have this eligibility criteria's. For the four Academy.

    >>Officer Training Academy:-

    >>Indian Military Academy:-This exam is under the CDS.If you apply this exam you should be citizen of india, and you should be complete the bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university and there is no minimum percentage of mark for this examination and final year graduates also eligible for this examination.This exam is only for Male candidate so girls are not allowed for this examination.and the candidate age limit should between 19 to 24 years.if you have this eligibility criteria you can apply this examination.

    for the aspirants willing to get jobs in the three defense forces of INDIA .

    the CDS examination is the combination of three papers namely
    ENGLISH
    GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
    MATHEMATICS (for the IMA aspirants)

    ENGLISH paper consists of
    synonyms
    ordering of sentences
    antonyms
    ordering of words in the sentences
    spotting errors in the sentences
    sentences improvement
    comprehension passages

    GENERAL KNOWLEDGE paper consist of objective questions related to
    general awareness,

    geography ,

    Syllabus for CDS Exam

    Those candidate are completed graduation are eligible for CDS exam OR B-TECH ans BE student are also eligible for this exam .But you have not any Pending Backlog.

    Final Year student are also eligible for CDS exam.There is no percentage marks criteria.

    Your age should be in between 21 to 25 years old.There is no age relaxation provide for reserved category .

    CDS exam held two times in a year. In the cds exam four type of the department

    1. Indian Military academy
    2. Officer Training academy
    3. Indian air force
    4. Indian navy.
    In the exam three type of the section each section is the 300 marks, section is like as the

    2. General Awareness
    3. Mathematics
    For the syllabus of all section find the attachment.

    For OTA and IMA the candidate must have graduate in any stream


    For AIR FORCE and Navy the candidate must have graduate in science stream.


    Age limit for the exam:-


    Indian Maltery Accedmay age limit is: 19 to 24 Years


    For Officer Training Academy age limit: 19 to 25 years


    Naval age limit: 19 to 22 years

    UPSC conduct CDS exam for the posts of defence services. for appearing in the exam you have to satisfy the eligibility Criteria for it.

    CDS Stands for " Combined Defense Services".

    * The Union Public Service Commission conducts the examination every year for the selection of candidates in Indian Defense.

    The Eligibility Criteria For CDS Examination are mentioned below:

    * You must have completed your graduation from any recognized college/university.

    * Your age must lie in between 18-24 years.


    * You must have Indian Nationality.

    * You must be physically and mentally fit.

    I have opted IMA and OTA in CDS exam 2013, am i required to take math paper also as math is not required for OTA.

    English � 100 marks
    Elementary Mathematics � 100 marks
    General Knowledge � 100 marks

    The candidates who will clear the written exam such candidates are called for the Interview. The Interview is conducted by the SSB at the different tests. It is conducted at the

    Allahabad

    The candidates should be clear the Interview. The candidates after clearing the Interview called for the Medical Examination.

    Legality for the exam

    ** The candidates should be Indian citizen
    ** The candidates should be graduate from the recognized college
    ** The candidates should have minimum aggregate of 60% in the graduation
