You can get int IMA through CDS examination conducted by UPSC twice a year.If you are unmarried male within age limit 19-24years at time of joining IMA and you are a graduate from any stream from a recognised University,you are eligible for CDS exam.You need to apply through the website of UPSC for next year CDS as this year both the CDS I and II registrations are over.Check the website of UPSC for next year CDS expected notification time and also previous year question papers.You can also check out the CDS notification in the archived notification category to know more about the entry schems related to physical and medical standards etc.Check out at upsc.gov.in

You can join Indian military either by Giving NDA exams or CDS exams.Both are conducted by UPSC. But eligibility criteria are different.For NDA exams you have to passed 12th with PCM where as for CDS you have to be graduate .Both the examinations are conducted twice in a year for selecting candidates in different wings of army.You may get more details about the pattern of examination and examination dates on UPSC official websites(www.upsc.gov.in)

<>for nda exam any student who have passed 12th from a recognised board with scoring 60%.the age limit for nda exam is 16.5 to 19 years.

Yes... you can join IMA after clearing UPSC's CDS Exam.
The Combined Defence services exam is conducted bi-annually by UPSC and here is the eligibility criteria for the exam:
Eligibility conditions:
For IMA and OTA : Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.
For Naval Academy : Degree in Engineering
For Air Force Academy : Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
Age limits:
For IMA 19 - 24 years
For NA 19 - 22 years
For AFA 19 - 23 years
For OTA 19 - 25 years
If you hold a degree from a recognized college and your age is not above 24..then you should start preparing for CDS Exam.

Dear there are two ways to join Indian Military Academy through UPSC exams that are :
After class 12th in any discipline from a reputed university or institute or board but age should not be less than 16 years and more than 18.5 years (average) and only unmarried male candidates are allowed to apply for this examination
You may also join IMA after completing graduation in any discipline from a reputed institute and final year pursuing candidates are also eligible to apply for CDS IMA examination
Age should not be less than 19 years and more than 24 years to appear for this exam
There is no relaxation in upper age provided to any category candidates and remember that you are only allowed till 24 years of age
There will separate process of selection through both exams and better way to join CDS IMA is that you complete your bachelor's degree and take coaching classes then have good practice for examination and all other tests and get enter in this stream because graduation will be completed then you can give more time for your job and really achieve more targets in job and if you join through NDA examination then you will get the job but study will be stopped that will be completed in distance more so you should think about it and keep visiting at www.upsc.gov.in for more details about such examinations
