Through CDSE you will get the posting as a officer in any wing,the CDSE entry is for the graduates only and you can apply for the officer post only through CDSE.
Now through CDSE,you will get the pilot job,but for that you will have to select your preference for AFA(Air Force Academy) in the CDSE and the educational qualification required is graduation from any stream but with physics and maths in the intermediate level.
AFA the name suggests that you are applying for the Air Force and through CDSE,you can only apply for the pilot branch,there are only two ways to apply for the pilot branch in Air Force NDA-for the undergraduates and CDSE for the graduates.Other than that for any entry in Air Force you need to apply for AFCAT(Air Force Common Admission Test).

Dear Aspirant!
You can become a Air Force Pilot with Combined Defense Service Examination.
But , you have to desire to join Air Force academy must indicate AFA as first choice , as they have to be administered pilot aptitude battery test at one of the AFSB and AF medical at central medical establishments / Institute of Aviation medicines.
Must indicate first option as AFA to get Pilot.unless you will not eligible for Pilot.

Eligibility;-
---you must be passed graduation from a recognized university in science subject.
---you must be Indian citizen.
---Age limit is 19-22 years.
