CDS stands for the Combined Defence services examinations.This examination is conducted twice every year by the UPSC .Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university is the minimum eligibility criteria for the examinations.

The age limit is 19-25 years.

The important dates for the CDS II 2013 exam are:
