All the ranks of IES, IFS, IAS & IPS are same, but the duties and powers are different. As comparison to the powers, then You can find difference in these ranks.
in IES,IAS,IFS,and IPS the work profile of all the jobs are differ from each other,
in IAS there may be more job responsibilities than another other posts.
Almost these all rank are same, IAS is concerned with Administrative Service, IPS is concerned with Police Service, IFS concerned with Foreign Service, IES is concerned with Engineering services.

IPS means you became sp of one district.
Yes dear; IES , IAS, IPS and IFS all these are Class-1 posts according to the central government scheme.
But all these jobs have different field's of work so they have different responsibilities but same pay.

Ranks in India are decided by two things:
1. The grade pay (5400,6600,7600,8700,8900,10000,HAG,HAG+,APEX)
