English is a subject in which you will find the course to be same in any of the exam, So it is advisable to you that first of all you should work on your basics. First of all start with CBSE English books up to 10th standard to brush up your knowledge. You can also write down new words to improve your vocabulary.

Once you expert in the basics then bring a book named Lucent English. It is a good book in which you can find all the related topic elaborated in deep. Then after you can buy some sample papers also to judge yourself against the time. This is a process which never fails and after obtaining this process you can expect a good rank.
But, If you want a book which is All in one kind book then i advice you to go and bring Wren & Martin's High school English and Grammar book. You wil find all the related topics in that book.
