MY DATE OF BIRTH IS 05/11/1983 i.e. NOW MY AGE IS 27 YEARS & 4 MONTHS AND I AM PREPARING FOR IAS. I BELONG TO OBC CATEGORY. GENERALLY OBC CANDIDATES GET MAXIMUM 7 CHANCES FOR IAS UPTO THE AGE OF 33. AS I AM AN EMPLOYEE OF THE BANK THEN WILL I GET OBC- CATEGORY FACILITY? i.e. AM I ELIGIBLE FOR 7 CHANCES? WILL I GIVE THE EXAMINATION OF IAS UPTO MAXIMUM AGE OF 33? yes you are eligible for giving the IAS exam till the age of 33 because the age limit for the obc candidates for giving the IAS exam is 21-33 years. You also have 7 attempts with you and working in the bank or any other sector does not affect your chance s or the age limit in the upsc exams
