Generally the salary will be starting from the 35000 to 150000.usually the exam consists of 3 sections. In one section consists of written exam which consists of the topics related to the core and general both in paper -1 and in paper 2 there will be relating questions in core and in the third there will be interview based on the performance that you had performed in the written test after that you will be having the interview based on technical skills and after that they will finally get the mark card and you are allotted to get position based on that and the salary will be based upon that.
So prepare well for both the written test and interview based upon which you will be getting the salary range will be there for B.Tech completed students there is a chance of writing the exam for streams such as ECE,EEE,Mech,Civil .
