Eligibility for Indian Economic Service Examination

Candidate should have passed master's degree in any one of the Economics/ Business Economics/ Applied Economics/ Econometrics from a reputed institute or university

If pursuing final year or awaited for final year examination result then also can apply for this examination

Your age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age as per government guidelines that are 3 years for OBCs and 5 years for SC/ST category candidates

You have completed your master's degree in Agribusiness Economics so we are really sorry to say that you are not eligible to apply for Indian Economic Service Examination and you should complete MA or MBA in Economics or above mentioned stream then only you will be eligible to apply for this examination

Sorry , to say that you are not eligible for IES exam.

For that exam you should be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last year of engineering graduation.

Your age must be under 21-30 years.

IES stands for Indian Engineering Service , so only engineers are eligible for that exam.

Number Of Attempts :

General candidates has 4 attempts to apply where as BC candidates has 7 attempts and SC/ST candidates has no limit to apply for same.

Hai,No MA Agribusiness Economics graduates can't be eligible for IES exam.IES exam conducted by the UPSC once in a year.Eligibility details:-The candidate who are complete their degree in following stream are eligible for IES exam.Civil Engineering,Mechanical engineering,Electrical engineering,Electronics and Communication engineering.Percentage is not required for this exam.The applicant must be a citizen of India.Age criteria:-The age limits are 21 years to 30 years,3 years relaxation for OBC candidates,5 years relaxation for SC/ST candidates.Selection process:-Preliminary exam,Mains exam,Personal interview.Best of luck.
