There is no difference between NDA I and NDA II . This examination is conducted twice in year as namely NDA I and NDA II.
NDA I and NDA II have a same eligibility criteria and there is no difference between them.
NDA I examination will be held on April , NDA II examination will be held on August or September.
Eligibility Criteria :-
Those who are passed their Higher Secondary level (12th) examination with any desire subject or equivalent qualification from a recognized School and the candidate are eligible to apply for NDA Service like Army wings , Navy wings and Air force wings .
If the candidate want to join in Air force or Navy wings , the candidate have to completed 12th with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects .
The candidate should have a minimum 16 half years and maximum 19 years for both examination .

So ,If you are eligible to appear for NDA-1 exams,then you can also appear for the NDA-2 exams,,provided you don't cross the age limits.
As for preparation,the questions asked are very basic in nature.
So you needn't follow any special books.The books you have been using since your class 8 till the intermediate are just enough.
You can also refer to the NCERT books in particular,as they provide knowledge till depth.

NDA 1 AND NDA 2 ARE BOTH THE SAME EXAMS ,WE CAN SAY THAT IT IS THE SAME EXAMS WHICH IS CONDUCTED TWICE IN A YEAR .
NDA 1 IS HELD IN THE MONTH OF APRIL and
NDA 2 IS HELD IN THE MONTH OF AUGUST.
JUST LIKE THIS YEAR THE NDA-1 WAS SUCCESSFULLY HELD ON 15 APRIL 2012(SUNDAY) AND THE NDA-2 WILL BE HELD ON 19 AUGUST 2012 (SUNDAY).
AND YES A CANDIDATE IS ELIGIBLE FOR NDA -2 WHILE HE APPEARED IN NDA-1 .

There is no difference between the NDA-I and NDA-II. Both have same syllabus, same exam pattern, same eligibility criteria. The difference is that both are conducted in different month of a year. If you cleared the NDA-I then you does not need to apply for NDA-II. if by chance you does not cleared the NDA-I then you can apply for NDA-II but the thing is that you must satisfy the eligibility Criteria.
In NDA questions are of 12th level. so for preparation follow the NCERT books.

NDA I and NDA II both are the same exam with different names because they are taken at two different times............
Both are the exams for the selection process for the defence jobs in India.....
No doubt if you are appeared in the NDA I then also you can apply for the NDA II but your age must be within the limit i,e. 16.5 to 19 years......
You must be 12th pass to apply for this exam and also you must be the citizen of India......

There is no defference in NDA 1 and NDA 2 because NDA is the examination which is conducted twice in a year so it is named as NDA 1 and NDA 2 so never take these as different things.
Yes definitely you can apply for the NDA 2 as well if you have applied for the NDA 1.
Because this the examination which never bound the candidates to apply for more than once.
So it will be good if you apply again for the exam if you are not sure that examination is not gone good.
Or if you have not got the call for the SSB.
Only you need to fulfil the criteria of the NDA examination which i have mentioned as follows-
You must have passed class 12th in any stream if applying for the indian army.
You need to have physics and maths in class 12th if you want to apply for the air force and navy.
Your age must be 16.5 to 19 years .
Age relaxation is not there.
Boys are only eligible for the examination.so girls should not apply for the same.

Medical examination.
