There is no multi option in respect of IAS/IPS exam.Candidates can appear UPSC conducted Civil Services eg IAS/IPS once a year.The qualification is needed
for this purpose is A Graduate from the recognized University in any discipline.Age for General candidate must be within 21-30 years, relaxations for OBC: 3
years, S/c s/T; 5 years.Nationality: Indian, In this connection I also like to mention a general candidate can appear only 4 times to crack IAS/IPS, an OBC
Candidate can appear 7 times, then S/c S/T : No limit.

There is one and only one only way to become and IAS/IPS officer that is to write civils exam.For writing the exam you must complete degree /equivalent from recognized university.
1)IAS means Indian Administration Services
2)IPS means Indian Police Services.
Both the exams are conducted by the UPSC board only.
Main thing to be noted is for both the exams there will be only one written examination which is conducted by the UPSC in the name Of civils every year.
We have 3 stages of exam:
1)Prelims
2)Mains and
