the minimum percentage is required for the upsc civil service exam is only passed graduate candidate from the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet.
the percentage of the marks is no matter for the exam. you have got 52% marks in graduation you don't worry you are eligible for the exam. you start your prepartion for
the 2013 exam.
The age limit is for general category is 21 to 30 years. And attempt the exam 4 times.
The age limit is for obc category is 21 to 33 years (3 years relaxation). Attempt the exam 7 times.
Age limit for SC/ST category is 21 to 35 years and attempt chance till overage. Means unlimited.

there is no any no any percentage restriction.all the candidates who are graduate with a recognized university.
so it doesn't matter that what percentage you score in graduation .you are a graduate than you are eligible .that's it !!
because in the eligibility criteria there is two major things required.
1. candidate must be a graduate.
2. candidate must be Indian
Yes you are eligible to sit in the UPSC civil services prelims exam.
Min educational qualifications is graduation
age- between 21 years and 30 years
number of attempts -4 for general candidates
In prelims there will be two papers
Paper 1-200 marks - general studies
paper 2- 200 marks- general mental ability, english, reasoning, nummerical aptitute etc
so start preparing for the exam
Prelims exam notification will come out in feb 2013 and exam will be held in may 2013

there are no percentage bars for the upsc exams,
percentage is not essential to become eligible for the upsc exam,
you need to be graduated or holder of bachelors degree,
along with that your age should be eligible for the exam then only you can apply for the upsc exam,

You will feel good to know that there is no minimum Marks needed for UPSC Exams. You must be Graduate only. But, You have to prepare well to qualify the same. Because, the hark work which you have not done in your graduation you have to do it for UPSC Exams. Because its a Competition and not passing marks is sufficient. You have to score for merit list.
You have score enough marks in BSc. and quite eligible for UPSC Exams. but you need Coaching to concentrate on your studies so work Hard... Good Luck...

I see that you are an aspirant of UPSC then you must go for civil services exams....very well civil services generally known as
INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES needs some general qualification....
they dont care in how many years you have completed the degree if you have
a pass degree you are eligible.....but you have to see that you fulfill other criteria's....
no percentage bar is there only GRADUATION NEEDED.....
For becoming an IAS exams you have to clear CIVIL SERVICES exams conducted by UPSC....

In CSAT exam there is no limit of percentage marks. so you are completely eligible for this exam
