    The UPSC conducts theCSAT preliminary examination every year. The essential qualification for theCSAT of UPSC is to pass the Bachelors degree in any stream at any recognizeduniversity. To crack the UPSC and CGPSC examinations, you have to prepare yourself from this very moment. So you have to gain all total General Knowledge for it. You have to read the English newspaper(The Hindu & Business Standard) and other competitive magazines like Civil services Chronicle, IAS Guru's & Pratiyogiyta Darpana. The most important thing for it is the Time Management. The proper time management and Perseverance can give you a sure success. Best of Luck

    Upsc Stands for the Union Public Service Commission

    And they are conducting the exam civil services exam every year for IAS,IPS,IFS

    IAS: Means Indian Administrative Services

    IPS: Means Indian Police Service

    IFS: Means Indian Foreign Service

    And yes you can become a IAS Officer on the basis of your graduation degree

    Here is the Required Qualification for Civil Services Exam:


    -The candidate should be pass in graduation from a recognized indian university

    -Final year student can also apply for the exam

    -The candidate age should be between 21-30

    -Relaxation given to the sc/st of 5 and for obc of 3 years

    For the preparation of the exam follow the steps:

    Well first of all you are thinking for one of the best difficult test of india

    So you have to work very much hard for it if you want to become a IAS Officer

    So make a time table and work according to that

    And study daily and study in regular intervals

    And do regular practice and practice

    And purchase some good books and read daily news paper

    to become an IAS officer you have to clear UPSC CS(Civil Services ) Exam.
    you can apply for CS exam online on http://www.upsconline.nic.in/

    Eligibility Criteria for CS Exam:

    you have to complete or appearing in final year of graduation in any field from recognized college or university.
    your age must be within 21 years to 30 years and relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates is: 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.


    How To Prepare:

    first manage your time table. Go according to UPSC CS exam syllabus. Read 6th to 12th NCERT books. Improve your GK and English and read news papers daily.
    solving Previous year question paper is most important part of preparation.

    Set the time that you will study hard. Set a timetable for yourself. Download past question through the website www.upsc.gov.in and study them

    UPSC exam held every year and first of all you need to apply for it by filling a form for it and the notification will be issued in feb and the last date is approximatly in the first week of march.The exam is held in two parts first Prelims and then Mains.The following are the essentials for preparing for it :
    1.Read newspaper and magazine daily.
    2.Study some good General knowledge books.
    3.Prepare your aptitude from RS Aggarwal.
    4.In my opinion it would be better if you join any good coaching institute as they tell to act smart and effective.
    5.Study daily for 8-10 hrs and never skip your studies.
    6.Prepare each and every topic well.
    7.Read and take notes of history,geography,science books of cbse board from class 6th till 10th.
    8.Also choose optional subjects very carefully so that you can score good in them.

    To become an IAS officer you would be Crack The Civil Service Exam which is conducted by upsc every year

    For this must be Graduate any stream from any recognized university

    age should be between 21-30 years

    For preparation:

    You should schedule a time table
    you should read news paper and magazine
    you should watch news channel daily
    you should read NCERT books
    you should solved previous question paper

    So dear first of all you should complete your degree

    after completing your degree you can apply

    in final year you can also apply

    Hi friend,

    To become an IAS officer you have to crack civil service exam which is conducted in three phases Preliminary exam, main exam and the last is interview. It is a national level exam which is conducted by UPSC once in a year and for this exam you should be any graduate from a recognized university and your age should be 21 to 30 and there are 3 year relaxation for OBC candidate and 5 year for SC/ST.

    To crack this exam you need a lot of hard work and the most important thing is time management. Always read daily newspaper like The hindu, The times of India and read general study books and magazines.

    yes you are fully eligible for IAS exam and CGPSC exam with your BBA degree.
    CGPSC is a state public services of chattisgarh.


    IAS exam is also said that Civil services exam or CSAt exam

    CIVIL SERVICES APTITUDE TEST

    Eligibility Criteria


    Candidate should be graduate from recognized university
    final year candidate can also apply

    Age of the candidate is 21 to 30 year.
    there are relaxation in age for category candidate
    3 year age relaxation for OBC candidate and 5 year for SC/ST candidate

    Attempt limit
    For General candidate- 4 attempt
    OBC- 7 Attempt
    SC/ST - no limit
