dear friend ,in upsc cds exam based on your course backround you will be choosing the subjects ,that is if you are a b,tec graduate you will be having 3 papers and if you are a science back round student you will have 2 papers of each 100 marks ,multiple choice questions,over all on an average you should get 70%.to get qualify in cds .all the best

CDS : Stands for the Common Defence Academy
Upsc is conducting the upsc exam every year
And the exam format is first a written objective type test
And after the written test their will be a ssb of 7 days
Which is the most difficult task and it's very hard to crack it
So you should have to work very much hard
Here is the Qualification Required for the Exam:
-The Candidate should be pass in Graduation from a recognized Indian university for IMA(Indian Military Academy) And OTA(Officer's Training Academy)
-And for the Indian Air Force Exam the candidate should be pass in Graduation( B.SC With Physics or Maths )
-The candidate age should be between 19-24 for the IMA
-The candidate age should be between 19-25 for the OTA
-The candidate age should be between 19-22 for IAF
And their is no need of specific % for the exam

there is no consideration of percentage for UPSC CDSE exam. you need to complete or appearing in final year of graduation from recognized college or university. so do not woory about percentage and apply for UPSC CDSE exam.

there is no barrier of the percentage of marks for the cds exam. under cds exam four type of paper held
1. Indian military academy.
2. Officer training academy.
3. Air force.
4. Navy.
for the ima and ota candidate graduation in any stream from the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet. the percentage of marks is no matter for the exam.
for air force and navy the candidate has graduation in science stream from the recognized university which is approved by the ugc/aicet. the percentage of marks is no matter for the exam.

as far as eligibility for the upsc exams is concerned then i must tell you that there is no particular percentage required for the upsc exam,
minimum passing percentage will make you eligible for the upsc exams,
upsc does not sets any percentage bars for the candidates to become eligible for the upsc exams,
age required for the CDS exam is 19 to 24 years ,
for IMA 19 to 24 years,
for OTA age limits is 19 to 25 years,
also candidates belonging to OBC and SC/ST category gets age relaxation of 3 years and 5 years respectively,

This is one of the best entries in the Indian Defense Services. Its conducted by the UPSC twice in a year in the summers and winters. So you can apply for any you wish or both..
The Eligibility says that you should be a minimum graduate in ANY stream from a recognized college with good percentage (not mentioned any particular).
Age within 21-25 years and you should be physically fit..

No there is no criteria for percentage marks to apply for UPSC - CDS - Combined Defense Services exams and if you have a following eligibility then you can easily apply for CDS exam :
You should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and you age should not be more than 25 years and lesser than 21 years
If you are pursuing the final year of degree or appearing for final year examination or awaiting for result of your graduation then also you are eligible to apply for CDS exam.
Those candidates who are having only a bachelor degree in any discipline are only allowed to appear for Indian Army posts but if the candidate having a degree with mathematics and physics as a compulsory subject then the candidate can apply for Indian Navy and Indian Air Force posts.

NO THE PERCENTAGE IS NOT A ISSUE WITH THE CDSE.
Percentage is not required for the applying in the CDSE exam,only the pass marks in the graduation is necessary.A degree in the engineering or in any stream just have pass marks is necessary.

It doesn't matter buddy UPSC not require any percentage of marks if you are simple pass class graduate then you can apply for CDS exam bcoz its a graduate base exam through UPSC.

Actually there is no percentage Barrier to give the C.D.S examination ...
The one thing you need to put in mind is that .. YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF GRADUATION ...
You must have a minimum of 19 years
And the maximum age is allowed up to 24 years
And you must be an Indian Citizen
The only thing you need to Put in your mind is YOU MUST HAVE PASSED GRADUATION
