The IPS examination is conducted by UPSC as the Civil service Aptitude Test. It is conducted every year. The previous question papers is available in the UPSC website i.e. www.upsc.gov.in or You can also get the above question papers in the competitive magazine publishing houses like Arihant, Chronicle or CSR etc. Thank you...

for previous year Question Papers you have to visit www.examrace.com and select IAS. Don't worry Papers for IAS or IPS are same. IPS are decided on the basis of merit list. you got free study material and Optional question papers for your preparation....

Only those who have passed their graduate degree OR post graduate degree Or final year of course may also eligible to apply for this examination . You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination .

IPS is a service recruited through the Civil Services Exam which is conducted by the UPSC. So there is no exclusive exam for the post of IPS officer, and you will have to clear the Civil Services Exam.
For previous years question paper of the exam you should click the following link-

and then click on a year of the exam and the question papers of the exam held in that year will be available for download.

First, you need to know what is UPSC.
UPSC is Union Public Service Commission which conducts many exams in which Civil Service Exam(CSE) is one of them.
The posts under CSE are IAS,IPS etc
CSE has a misnomer as 'IAS exam' or 'UPSC exam' or 'IPS exam'.
-You need to go to 'http://www.upsc.gov.in/'
-Click on 'Previous year question paper'
-Select the year you want.
-Select the Civil Service Preliminary or Mains exam
-select the subject. Then you can have the question paper.

Dear let me clear you one thing that there is no any exam named ips examination .
If you want to become an ips officer than you have to give the civil services examination which is conducted by upsc every year once .
The notification for the exam is released in the month january /february .
