    dear friends,

According to your age you can't apply for civil exam if you belongs to general category otherwise if you belongs to reserved category then you can apply for civil service exam. Its age limit criteria is that for Gen 21-30 yrs....for Obc 21-33 and for SC/ST 21-35 yrs. And no any provision for the state administrative officer from competent authority to sit for IAS exam.

    Thanks

Dear sir the eligibility criteria is follows same for each and every IAS or civil services aspirant which is following as :

A bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university and if candidate is pursuing final year of the degree then also he/she may apply for this exam

Age should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years and relaxation in upper age follows as per government guidelines which is 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, 10 years for PWD and 5 years for Ex-Servicemen candidates

If you are under the PWD category then you may appear for this exam and if not so that you are not eligible to apply for this exam after getting relaxation too.

You have crosses the maximum age limitation which is required for this exam so sir you are not eligible to apply for this exam and as for as my views are concerned that you should work hardly and honestly with your current position and if you will do it then you may get promotion and become any other powerful officer.

    All the best
