    What is the age limit for IPS exam? Which subject can I choose as optional paper being a Pharmacy graduate?

    hello
    plz tell me the age limit in ips exam?
    i m b.pharm , so tell me which subject i choose?

    IPS Exam is taken by UPSC Board.


    >> The Age limit is set by UPSC Board is As Follow:

    >> For General Category Candidate 21 to 30 years.

    >> For OBC Category Candidate 21 to 33 years

    >> For SC/ST Category Candidate 21- 35 years.

    >> For optional Subject Selection:

    >>> You can Select Any Subject that you can easily prepare and Get Good marks.

    >>> So choose the Subject that is easy for you.

    >>> Also keep in mind that every Subject are easy but you need only some logic.

    hi,
    It is nice that you want to join IPS exam. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC every year.

    IPS exam stands for Indian Police services to become \IPS officer.

    General age limits is 21-30 years.

    Age relaxation is given to reserved category students.

    3 years for OBC category

    5 years for SC/ST category

    10 years for PH candidates

    From this year Mains exam pattern has been changes.

    Comparison between Previous Year Mains exam pattern and 2013 Exam pattern;-

    Less subjects to choose from

    More papers to appear for under General Studies

    Constriction in language/ medium (to give the exam)

    English paper sub-divided into 2 sections (300 marks total)

    Reduction in total marks

    New paper on ethics, integrity and aptitude

    You have to choose those subjects in which you have full interest or field related subjects.

    This year Last dates is over. You have to wait for next year notification.

    Important Dates;-

    Preliminary exam ;-26 May 2013

    Mains exam;-1th Dec 2013

    dear aspirant,

    you can become an IPS officer through UPSC Civil Services Exam. The Exam is conducted by UPSC every year. For Crack the exam you have to prepare hard for the exam.
    As you said you are from Pharmacy and there is no optional subject related to Pharmacy in Civil Services. But You can choose History/Geography as your optional subjects. Because these are easy to study and learn.

    Eligibility Criteria For Civil Services:


    >>you must have completed or appearing in final year of graduation.

    >>your age must be within 21 years to 30 years on 1 August of the year of exam. there is relaxation in upper age limit up to 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.



    Limit Number Of Attempts:

    >>General category: 4 attempts

    >>OBC category: 7 attempts

    >>SC/ST category: No Limit




    Important dates of Civil Services exam in 2013:


    CSAT(Prelims):

    date of Notification:05.03.2013

    last date of receipt of application:04.04.2013

    date of exam:26.05.2013



    Mains:

    date of exam:01-12-2013

    The age limit for the IPS civils is 21-30 yrs for general category and relaxation is given to obc and sc/st

    For subject to choose you can choose the one which you feel you can easily attempt so that you can score best marks in optionals.

    You can apply for Civil Service Examination for IPS.

    IPS stands for Indian Police Service which is conducted by UPSC every year.

    2] Age limit :- 21 to 30 years.

    There is also age relaxation provide to SC/ ST/ OBC category candidate as per government rule.

    For SC/ ST :- 5 years

    For OBC :- 3 years

    3] Educational Qualifications ;- The candidate must be completed his / her graduation in any discipline from any recognized university.

    4] The candidate can apply for this exam who is appearing in final year.

    5] The candidate must be physically as well as mentally fit.

    if you are general candidate then age limit is 21 - 30 years.
    OBC candidate - 21 - 33 years
    SC/ST candidates- 21 - 35 years

    you can choice for any subject in which you have interest.
