NDA: Stands for the National Defence Academy

Whose exam is conducting by the upsc

Department twice in a year and the exam

Have two stages or phases first is the written

Test and after that their will be a ssb of 5 days

And as after clearing the Entrance exam first

Benefit is it will increase you confidence level

The SSB In which your all tests and skills will be checked

Educational Qualification Required for the NDA Exam:

-The candidate must be pass in graduation from a recognized Indian university

-The candidate of the final year are also eligible for the exam

-The Aspirant must need a passing marks to appear in the exam

-Only The Unmarried candidates allowed for the exam

Age Required for the NDA Exam:

-For the exam 16.5-19 age is required

After clearing NDA exam, you can get entry into prestigious defence services in the country -army , navy or airforce.
You will have good training cum placement in the armed forces.
Further your entire expenses like training expenses, clothing,accommodation , books, medical treatment for 4 years till training period is over.
Suppose you are financially weak, then the govt. provides pocket expenses of Rs.400 per month
Further you will also be able to receive lot of scholarships both from the central govt. and state govt.
After successful completion of training , you will get B.SC/B.sc (computer) /B.A degree from Jawaharlal Nehru University, Delhi
Candidates during their training period in IMA and OTA will get monthly stipend of Rs.21000
After training period, the candidates will get jobs in Indian army, navy and air force with good pay and other allowances.

AIM OF NDA

The purpose of this exam is to make future leaders by providing required training so that they can excel in their life in the armed forces.

Conduct high quality service training to enable cadets to have a substantial edge over their counterparts in their service careers.

To improve overall personality development of a cadet by including a sense of self-discipline, honour, integrity, camaraderie and sense of pride.


BENEFITS OF TRAINING AT NDA:

During the training period of NDA which generally lasts for 3 years you will be provided both physical and educational training.

The candidate after passing out will get BA/B.Sc degree from JAWAHAR LAL UNIVERSITY,DELHI.

On passing out from the National Defence Academy, Army Cadets go to the Indian Military Academy, Dehra Dun, Naval Cadets to the Cadets Trainingship and Air Force cadets to AFA, HYDERABAD/BFTS,ALLAHABAD.


At the I.M.A. Army Cadets are known as Gentlemen Cadets,On successful completion of training Gentlemen Cadets are granted Permanent Commission in the rank of LIETUENANT.


The Naval cadets are selected for the Executive, Engineering and Electrical Branches of the Navy, on passing out from the National Defence Academy on successful completion of which they are promoted to the rank of Midshipmen
After a further training of 6 months in the respective branches to which they are allocated they are promoted to the rank of acting Lieutenants

Air Force Cadets receive flying training for a period of 1� years. However, at the end of 1 year of training they are given provisional commission in the rank of Flying Officer after successful completion of further training of six months.
