    What courses should I pursue to be eligible for IFS officer post?

    how do i get a admission form in mount carmel and plz let me know wat are the courses i should take to pursue an IFS officer post....

    Hello Friend,
    IFS stands for Indian forest service .To become an IFS officer you have to clear the IFS exam with a good Rank. The exam conducted by UPSC every year.

    Educational qualification for IFS officer post:

    Bachelor degree in Agriculture, forestry, veterinary science, Animal Husbandry, Geology, zoology , botany , physics , statistics, chemistry.

    Engineering in civil , mechanical, chemical , agricultural .

    Final year students are also apply for the exam.

    Age:- 21 year to 30 year
    upper age limit is relaxed for OBC 3 year , SC/ST 5 year & certain others.

    The candidate have a Indian citizenship.

    Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts Indian Foreign Service (IFS) examination once in every year.

    >>>Academic qualifications required are:


    Must pass a Graduation or Bachelor's degree with atleast on of the subjects like:

    Animal Husbandary and Vaternary Sciences
    ,Botany,
    Chemistry,
    Geology,
    Mathematics,
    Physics,
    Statistics,
    Zoology.

    OR

    Bachelor's degree in Agriculture,Forestry

    OR

    in Engineering of any of universities incorporated established by an Act of Parliament.

    Recognised by Indian Government.

    IFS (INDIAN FOREIGN SERVICES)
    QUALIFICATION REQUIRED ARE :

    1. graduate degree with any of the subjects as:
    >> chemistry
    >>animal husbandry
    >> forestry
    >> statistics
    >>botany
    >> zoology
    or
    2. engineering agricultural etc.
