CSIR means Council of Scientific and Industrial Research and PGRPE means PG research programme.

You can see the CSIR website www.csir.res.in for online Application Form.

The candidates apply as a �Scientist Trainee� in CSIR for PGRPE.

Online Admission fees is Rs. 4000/- for one candidate.

It is the Post Graduate Research Programme in Engineering conducted by Council of Scientific & Industrial Research by which you can do integrated Ph.D and get into research fields.You will have to get a good and valid GATE score to apply for this programme.Selection and preparation of the merit list of candidates is done on the basis of GATE score.You will be also given stipend during this programme.Good Luck!
