UPSC conducts NDA examination for students who are 12th qualified with Physics,Chemistry and Mathematics but are not graduate
It is conducted twice in a year and your age limit must be between 16.5 to 19 years only
When you become graduate you can apply for combined defence services.Age limit for different services are

nda and cds both exams are for the recruitment of commissioned officers in army,airforce,navy. the difference between them is that the qualification required for nda exam is class 12th and the qualification required for cds is a graduation in any field from an ugc recognised university. the age limit for nda is 16.5 to 19 years and age limit for cds is 19 to 25 years. both of the exam are of equal level and importance.

Both NDA and CDSE are entries in defense services.
The basic factor is that both NDA and CDSE allows to apply in all three wings of defense simultaneously.
Indian Air Force,
Indian Navy.
Indian Army.
The only difference between NDA and CDSE is that NDA is a entry only for intermediate candidates where as CDSE is for Graduate candidates.
CDSE allows Permanent Commission except OTA(Officer Training Academy).
NDA only offers Permanent Commission.
Life At NDA
3 years at NDA and 1.5 years at AFA.
3 years at NDA and 1 years at IMA

Nda stand for national defence acadmy while cds stand for combined defence service.
You give nda after 12th or during 12th but you can give cds only after graduation.
Age limit are also different for both.
For nda it is 16-19 years
for cds it is 19-25 years including different course.
