    Hello

    IMA-Indian Military Academy
    A entry in Indian Army.

    OTA-Officers Training Academy.
    A entry in Indian Army.

Difference between IMA and OTA is just that one is a Permanent Commission and other one is Short Service Commission.
    IMA is Permanent Commission.
    OTA is Short Service Commission.

Permanent Commission-A service of 30 years.
Short Service Commission-A service of maximum 14 years.

Both allows entry for Indian Army but IMA is for 30 years wheres as OTA is for 14 years.
