    Yes you can apply for IES or IAS. Actually IAS is different from IES you have different exams for this both. You are absolutely eligible if you are age is within limit which you can refer in upsc sites....

    hiii, ofcourse dear,you are eligible for both :IAS & IES,conducted on behalf of upsc.you are persuing with civil,so don't be worry.Eligibility criterion for both of them; �indian domicile �bachelor degree from any recognized university �no backlogs �no criminal records �age limit 21-30 years relaxation of 3 & 5 years for obc & sc/st categories respectively. �Computer trades are not eligible as bca,mca,cs etc.you have to face;#prilimary test#mains &#interview also, four chances given to genaral, seven for obc & no boundation for sc/stfor more info login to:www.upsc.gov.in all the best thnkz & regards!

    Dear Aspirants ,

    IAS stands for Indian Administrative services and IES stands for Indian Engineering services .

    For IAS :- Candidates must be graduate from any recognized university and also
    can apply in last year of graduation.

    For IES :- Candidates must be graduate in engineering and also can apply in last
    year of graduation.

    Age Limit For Both :-

    GEN : 21-30 years
    BC : 21-33 years
    SC/ST : 21-35 years

    3 years of age relaxation for BC candidates and 5 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

    IAS-Indian Administrative Service

    IAS -graduation from any stream from any mode
    Age 21 to 30 years for general
    Percentage required none.

    Final year graduate candidates are eligible to apply.

    IAS is conducted in the name of CSAT-Civil Service Aptitude Service Exam
    One paper is made and other service such as IPS,IRS also take part.

    Posting happens on the basis of rank secured.

    IAS consists of subjects related to Indian culture and geography and history along with engineering subjects like history,geography,political science
    mechanical engineering,civil engineering. for mains

    Preliminary is only general studies ,two papers -200 marks each.

    IES -B.TECH/B.E gradutes froim any stream
    apply for four core branches services
    1)electrical engineering
    2)mechanical engineering
    3)electronics and communication engineering
    4)civil engineering

    IES is for services to different departments under Indian government such as railways,naval,stores services.

    Well the eligible criteria for both IAS and IES are same which are given below�� You must be a graduate.�� You must be an Indian.�� Your age must lie between + General Category : 21 - 30 years + OBC : 21 - 33 years + SC & ST: 21 - 35 years�� Number of attempt + General category : 4 + OBC : 7 + SC & ST :No limit.�� You must not have any criminal record
