========ALL THE BEST============
dear friend,
ies stands for indian engineering services and it is related to engineering works but ias stands for indian administrative services which is totally different from engineering works and related to administration works.
So they are totally different from each other.
If you want to choose a good salary job between both than i advised you to take ias as first preference
to ias .
Because ias had high salary and having more power.
Good luck !!
Hi Aspirant
No my friend both the exams are different
IAS : Stands for the Indian Administrative Services
IES : Stands for the Indian Economic Services
And both the exams are different also the eligibility criteria
And both have their different advantages and disadvantages
As IAS is the most reputed post of the country
And the IAS have more power than simply other posts
So on the other hand Ies does not have such power and status
As compare to the Ias also as far from the point of view of salary
The salary of the IAS Officer is very much high as compare to Ies
But it does not mean that the post is nothing
As each post have their own features and disadvantage
The Eligibility For the IAS:
- The candidate should be pass in Graduation from a recognized Indian University
- The candidate age should be between 21-30
- Relaxation as per given to the reserve category candidates given
Eligibility For the IES:
- The candidate should be pass in B.TECH Degree from a recognized University
And the age criteria is same as for the IAS
Best of luck
