What if I don't qualify in IPS exam? What career options will be left for me?

what if i dont qualify in IPS
i'm a commerce student of 11 presently and planning to do IPS with the additional subjects commerce and hindi...in case i'm not able to qualify in the exam, what career options would i be left with..?

Dear Aspirant

You are in class XI and you have neither prepare yourself for civil service examination.Then why do you think so.Many options are available and if you sincerly prepare then you don't have to think about it also.See you are in class XI so first you start focussing on your studies and then secondly remove from your mind that you cannot do it.

See at this stage it will be useless to know the pattern of examination and other things but only one thing I would like to say that start reading a newspaper daily atleast 1 hour.It will not only improve your English,Vocbulary,Comprehension as well as communication skills.Besides these solve aptitude and reasoning questions daily.

Don't fear or think also what will happen if you not get qualified in IAS.You can try for banking jobs and then later teach also.Wish you all the best

Dear your interest and destination to become an IPS Officer in India so this is your first lack that you do not think anything positively and this doesn't match with the quality of an IPS Officer in India but somewhere you may be right but absolutely not because if your target is only one, you are studying only for one goal so your achievement also will be same that you will decide before getting that so you should not keep any type of negative thoughts in your mind which are not good for your target and be positive and optimistic always everywhere.

If you will decide it before that you will be failed in examination then you can never pass any examination because this shows that you afraid of appearing exam and facing all hurdles and troubles comes in his way so I would like to request you and suggest you to leave this type of thinking and keep all negative thoughts in dustbin before getting started preparation for IPS Officer examination because this habit may be a major estoppel in your selection and when you will prepare then you will feel that you are wasting your time which is not right for a IPS aspirant so you just have to think that if I will not be selected then no one will be and also follow some toppers of IPS, get motivation and encouragement from your seniors and other great leaders of India so you will see a right way and bring positive thinking that will be good for your preparation

In case of you get failed in IPS Officer examination once then also you should not be discouraged over any failure because failure teaches that you are going to get something huge and you should take your failure positive because that will show you where you have been lacked in preparation so you will cover that part and again will appear for exam with full of preparation and strategy so when you will appear for IPS exam again then no one can stop you becoming an IPS Officer and try until you get your target but preparation according to requirement is must

Number of attempts to appear for IPS Examination -

General Category candidates - Only 4 times

OBC - Other Backward Classes - 7 times

SC and ST - Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe - No limit but only till 35 years of age

General + PH/PWD Candidates - 7 times

Suppose you are from General Category then you will get 4 times to appear for this test and prove your efficiency and capability to get this rank so this time is more than enough according to the toppers so you have to take everything positive and start preparation for upcoming IPS examination but you are pursuing 11th class so it will take more time for you to be eligible but if you buy some good books every year and prepare for exam then you may easily cover and revise everything more than 10 times before examination because you have about 4 years to be eligible for this test so think about this time and just start your preparation

Now you are 11th standard class student, How can say you can not crack IPS exam.

Three is lot of time for yo​u to crack this exam.

1 years of 12th, and 3 years for your graduation degree.

about 4 years, you can clear IPS exam if you start preparation from now.

Your age should be between 21- 30 years at applying time.

Generally IPS exam Preliminary exam ,Mains exam and Interview.

Preliminary exam consist two papers of General studies.

Therefore you have to increase Your GK and Speaking English.

You can read guide books, newspapers, journals and even watch television for important news reports.

Reading English newspapers will help the students to get a good hold on the English language.
