there several exams that upsc conducts throughout the year for the students of India .nda and srca are conducted by upsc for the 12th pass students. other exams like cds, ias, cpf, ifs require graduation.
but the question arises how to crack these exams conducted by upsc.for this one should keep in mind that the exams are made for us and to crack them is in our hands . these exams needs a lot of hard work ,strong determination, strong will power to clear the exams and a single dimensional mind.
self study is one of the best methods to clear these exams. as after your 12th class you are known everything aruond you that can help you in your exams and the things that can make you out of the way to success.manage your time properly for the self study for the particular upsc exam you want to compete along with you academics. spoon feeding at this age can not be possible as nobody has time for others in this busy life .so you should have to depend pretty much on self study.go to market and buy the best book for the exam such gk books ,history, geography books etc .study them deeply as you can so that you retain the maximum part of it .this will surely lead you to the goal you have made for yourself
Starting preparation :
Civil Service Examination(CSE) is not a exam which is equal to other common entrance exams.
Just by by-hearting something you can achieve success.
you need to have passion in you to clear the exam and become a civil servant with a divine thought in your inner.
you can start your preparation according to your desire. if you want to crack the exam and become a all india topper you have to start preparation from this moment only.
if you just want any of the service in that exam then it is enough to prepare from 1 year before of the exam.
I think your aim is to be an IAS officer if that is right, then you need to work hard a lot.
There will be huge competition.
This exam doesn't check your academic standards or anything like that. It checks the applicant's attitude,IQ Level, Justification power, Righteousness , Kindness.
all these will be tested in the form of your answers.
for that you need to develop your personality not physically but mentally. For this you need to have a deep interest on Book Reading, Unlimited thurst to know new and old things.
you should be able to apply the moral values in your day to day activities.
to get these qualities you can do a lot of things like
