To become a Sub Inspector you have to appear/clear :
1.UPSC Civil Services Exams(CSE)
2.State Level Public Services Commission Exams

These exams are conducted every year to make recruitments to various posts/services.
After secruing a good rank in the these exams you will get the desired posts/services in the police services.
Through CSE you can get posts like IAS,IPS.IFS,etc.
These Exams are conducted in 3 stages :

To apply for this you must follow the below Eligibility criteria

You must be an INDIAN

The minimum age must be 21 years

Maximum age is allowed up to 30 years

Of course there will be an Age relaxation for the Reserved candidates
